Entry Level Material Handler | Raleigh, NC
We are recruiting for a Material Handler, aka Warehouse Organizer!, in our Raleigh, North Carolina facility. They will be responsible for keeping our warehouse in top shape. Working with the Warehouse Manager and other members of our shop and warehouse crew, they will receive inbound shipments, route them where they need to go, handle outgoing shipments, use the forklift to move big crates around and keep the warehouse tidy and tight! They will drive back and forth between our two locations so a clean driving record is a must. No forklift experience needed--just the confidence and ability to learn it.
Schedule: M-F, 8:00--5:00
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Using our software and hardware tools, receive, log and store inventory
- Monitor incoming orders, picking, labeling and preparing them for shipment
- Work with common carriers for shipment—FedEx, UPS, USPS
- Drive between main location and off site location, delivering properties
- Move and organize properties (crates and pallets) using forklift
- Troubleshoot problems
- Follow current operating procedures, working with the team to improve as needed
- Ensure product meets quality requirements
- Operate warehousing equipment such as a forklift or pallet jack, working at heights up to 16 feet.
WHO YOU ARE

- Intermediate computer skills—ability to use established inventory system, create and prepare documents. Word, Excel, inventory systems
- 2 years of general work experience, preferably with general warehousing, picking, receiving,
- An interest in learning our fun industry--no better place to start than the warehouse!
- Good communication skills—experience communicating internally and externally using email and phone
- Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks based
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, push carts up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts, use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around and go up and down stairs (where applicable)
